After dropping out of high school, Caroline Edmunds took on the responsibility of completing VCE at VU Polytechnic and continued pursuit of exploring her interests in business to go onto further study at VU. She is now the Social Media Manager for Thinktank Social agency and is endlessly engaged with the wide-ranging and expansive number of brands and businesses she manages.

Hamed Allahyari arrived in Australia as an asylum seeker and completed his course in English as an Additional Language at VU Polytechnic. Hamed now runs a social enterprise café, Cafe Sunshine & SalamaTea, offering employment to asylum seekers and refugees.
