Bucking the trend
Laura
Yeah, I chose signage because I've been doing design probably for about five years now. And I just thought manufacturing was more my side of design other than just creating. I'm actually hoping to become a really well you known female sign writer because there's not many out there. So I'm here to just show that females can do the job too.

From aircrafts to traditional shopfronts
Paris
"So far, I've absolutely loved it. I do work for Qantas. So our trade at Qantas is quite specific for the aircraft. Yet, coming here, I've learned so much more. So maybe further down the track, continuing on down the traditional sign writing side of things. So like your typical painting on windows and gilding and that that's my interest. So maybe one day working towards that and building up my skills in that department."

"Well, there's not many sign writers that have an actual diploma in graphic design or much graphic design experience. So it's good to have all of that and be able to do everything."
