Victoria University Polytechnic’s Learning and Development team has been recognised for excellence in digital innovation, with four top honours at the 2020 LearnX Awards.
The four successful award entries are:
- Platinum Award for Best Working from Home team - Rapid Deployment - in partnership with VU Polytechnic’s Plumbing, Hairdressing and Community Services departments.
- Platinum Award for Best Micro/Bite-Size eLearning Design – Echo, Car Ergonomics tool, in partnership with Melbourne Water
- Gold Award Best for eLearning on a Budget Initiative – eLearning module ‘Consent and Respectful Relationships’, in partnership with Victoria University’s Respect and Responsibility department
- Gold Award for Best Online Learning Model – eLearning module ‘Consent and Respectful Relationships’, in partnership with Victoria University’s Respect and Responsibility department

VU Polytechnic has offered an award-winning blended learning model for several years that replaces paper-based learning with flexible and user-friendly eLearning.
In 2019, VU and the Polytechnic received six peak Platinum and one Gold Award for eLearning projects. The awards reflect its engaging, collaborative education and training for VU students, VU staff and industry clients
In 2017, VU Polytechnic received a Platinum and Silver LearnX Award for its Project 100, an organisation-wide program to transform 100 vocational education qualifications into high quality, technology-rich modular programs for students, and training for 600 staff.
