VU Polytechnic is once again the proud major sponsor of the WYNnovation Festival. Wyndham City have been hosting WYNnovation for six years now, and it has become a symbol of innovation, entrepreneurship and business growth in the Wyndham area. This year's main event was held at the Encore Events Centre on 3 February, and it was a huge success with over 200 local businesses attending.
The WYNnovation Summit is an annual event that brings together business owners, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders to discuss the latest trends, technologies, and strategies for success. This year's summit was no exception, and attendees were treated to an impressive lineup of keynote speakers – Dr Louise Maher, Amanda Stevens and Future Crunch - Tané Hunter and Dr Angus Harvey – who shared their insights and experience. VU Polytechnic staff Shawn Vlaeminck, Rebecca Scorgie, John Burgess, Carolyn Jones, Gail Bray, Sam Nikolsky, Ifradh Imthiyas, Jethro Pugh and Mevan Fernando were in attendance, with our course offerings on display for anyone wanting more information on studying TAFE at VU Polytechnic.
In addition to the keynote speeches, the event also featured an innovation expo, where local businesses showcased their latest products, services, and technologies. This provided attendees with a unique opportunity to network with other businesses, exchange ideas and collaborate on potential projects. By creating opportunities for collaboration, education and training, the festival helps to ensure that the region remains a hub of innovation and entrepreneurship.
