VU Polytechnic’s Certificate IV in Education Support CHC40213 class at Werribee Campus spent time in class looking at ways to support one other as they continue to study in lockdown.
Students recently surprised their teacher, Isabel Kormos, with a Book Week theme dress up. The excitement and connectivity among the class has led to weekly dress up themes, starting with an 80s theme.
Next week students will participate in a trivia quiz and a 'show and tell' with stories about their favourite objects as a way to stay connected, build relationships and socialise with each other.
Teachers have received positive feedback about the the activities and how they are helping them to engage with each other and stay connected.
One student said “classes aren't just learning and study; they are also socialisation, sharing and a chance to reach out and have some fun”.
